Does it work without the internet?: Yes. PaceSwap makes no network requests, so it works exactly the same with the phone offline or in flight mode.
What does the paid version add?: Free gives you three starter patterns and your last 10 sessions. Pro is a single purchase and adds custom intervals from 10 seconds to 10 minutes, unlimited history, and a finishing kick that turns the last minute into a run.
I got a new phone. Where did my data go?: Everything lives on the device, so it does not follow you to a new phone on its own. There is no account, which is also why nobody else can see it.
