Does it work without the internet?: Yes. InPocket makes no network requests, so it works exactly the same with the phone offline or in flight mode.
What does the paid version add?: Free gives you the full salary calculator with every pay period and the complete breakdown. Pro is a single purchase and adds compare two offers side by side, save offers, and pin your favourite pay period.
I got a new phone. Where did my data go?: Everything lives on the device, so it does not follow you to a new phone on its own. There is no account, which is also why nobody else can see it.
