Hey Bibi
Snap a photo of a recipe card, a cookbook page or a handwritten note, and Hey Bibi reads it for you. Then it converts the units, scales to the servings you actually want, and gives you three timers at the stove.
Common questions
- The scan got an ingredient wrong.
- It happens with faint handwriting and tight cookbook margins. Every scanned recipe is fully editable, so open it, tap Edit, and fix the line. Recipes that came from a scan are flagged in the app until you have looked them over.
- A link would not import.
- Some of the biggest recipe sites block automated fetches, so their pages cannot be read. Most blogs and smaller sites work fine. When a link is refused, take a photo or a screenshot of the recipe and use the scanner instead, which always works.
- How do I get my Pro purchase back on a new phone?
- Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases. Pro is a one-off purchase tied to your Apple ID, so it comes back on any device signed in to the same account.
- Where are my recipes kept?
- On your phone. There is no account and nothing syncs to a server, which also means recipes are not carried across to a new phone on their own. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
